Intake: 2164 seats distributed among 16 NLUs for five-year integrated law programmes and 558 seats distributed among 16 NLUs for post graduate law programmes.
CLAT 2015 UG Eligibility Criteria - A candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates) and should be below 20 years of age as on July 1, 2015 (22 years in case of SC and ST candidates) in order to be eligibile for CLAT 2015. Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear inCLAT 2015. However, such candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination at the time of their admission and should be able to submit proofs in support of their claims. (Subjected to State reservation at the University concerned.)
CLAT 2015 PG Eligibility Criteria - A candidate should have obtained a LL. B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC and ST candidates).* The candidates who have passed the qualifying degree examination through supplementary/ compartment and repeated attempts are also eligible for appearing in the law exam, provided that such candidates will have to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with 55% percent marks, as the case may be, on the date of their admission or within the time allowed by the respective universities.
Pattern of CLAT 2015 UG paper:
- Duration of the examination – 2 hours
- Total number of MCQs – 200
- Total marks for CLAT 2015 UG – 200
- There shall be a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 marks will be deducted for each of the wrong answers.
- In the event of equal marks scored by two or more candidates in the CLAT 2015, the tie will be broken by the following procedure and order:
- Higher marks in the section of Legal aptitude.
- Higher age
- Computerized draw of lots.

Procedure for obtaining and submitting application forms for CLAT 2015:
- Candidates taking CLAT 2015 need to Apply Online for CLAT 2015 Application Forms. This year no other mode of submission has been permitted for CLAT 2015 Online Application Forms.
- The CLAT 2015 Online Applications can be made through the official website.
- The candidates need to remit the CLAT 2015 Application fees, i.e; Rs. 4000/- Only for the General Candidates and Rs. 3500/- Only for the Reserved categories.
- CLAT 2015 Online Application Forms shall be available from January 2015 onwards.
