Engineer in E2A level (For M.Tech Candidates)

Qualification : M. Tech./ MS/ ME / M.Sc (Engg)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in the Required Discipline£ with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA$ in B.Tech/ BE/ BSc(Engg)/ IDD/ AMIE

Pay Scale : Rs.24900-50500/-

Maximum Age : (as on 31.05.2015) 28 Years

Engineer in E2A level (For PhD Candidates) with 2 years of seniority weightage in E2A grade

Qualification : Ph.D in the Required Discipline£ with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA$ in B.Tech/ BE/ BSc(Engg)/ IDD/ AMIE.

Pay Scale : Rs.24900-50500/-

Maximum Age : 35 Years

The post wise profile required is mentioned below :

Experience of one year or more is desirable (academic/ research experience acceptable) in case of Ph.D. candidates. In cases where the required qualification is M.Tech / Ph.D., preference shall be given to Ph D holders subject to fulfillment of other conditions/ criteria. Final Year candidates who are going to complete their M.Tech/ IDD degree in the academic year 2014-15 are also eligible to apply for the post. IDD Candidates who are appearing in final examination, must have secured the required % of marks up to pre-final examination for eligibility w.r.t. requirement of marks at BE/ BTech level. PhD candidates must have submitted their thesis and finished their final viva by 31.05.2015 to be eligible for applying

Compensation Package : The Corporation offers a very attractive package and is one of the best in the Industry. Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of INR 24900-50500. The CTC per annum approximately shall be INR 14.02 Lakhs. Compensation package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance as per cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation / Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, etc. The Corporation also offers excellent facilities like Short and Long term Loans & Advances including House Building Advance, Medical facilities for self and dependents, Group Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, PF, Gratuity, Pension & Leave encashment. CTC mentioned above is only indicative. Actual CTC shall depend on place of posting and other terms & conditions of appointment

Application Fee : An application fee of Rs.400/- is payable by candidates (other than SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM) through a non-refundable A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.”, payable at New Delhi (preferably drawn on State Bank of India).

Selection Process : The selection process shall consist of Scrutiny of Applications and Personal interview of shortlisted candidates. Applications of candidates shall be scrutinized and shortlisted on the basis of their academic background. The Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and/or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.
