UGC NET 2018 English Exam Pattern

  • Paper I consists of the 50 objective type questions. each question carries 2 marks.
  • The candidate must answer all the questions (all are compulsory).
  • The total time duration is 1 hour for the paper-I exam.
  • Paper-1 questions will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching aptitude of the candidate.
  • Paper II contains 100 objective questions and each question carries 2 marks.
  • All questions in the Paper – II are based on the English subject.
